This mic is quite amazing on any source. It exudes elegance, depth, dimension, class and vibe.. and lt looks great as well. I tried the standard reference mic, was not my thing, I tried the Manley Silver... it was nice but not great.. It's the GOLD that made me shiver and quiver : ) Great mic and it all works as it should, no sonic nor operational issues. See pics for cosmetics which are also good aside from usual use / wear.
