Maxon OD-808 OVERDRIVE (Narrow Case)

The early narrow-case OD-808 - a genuinely sweet overdrive tone.

This is the small, lightweight early type sold in the late 1970s. Compared with the later, larger and heavier version, the case as well as the circuit board and op-amp spec differ. The later version is more sought-after and commands higher prices on the used market, but aside from subtle differences, the tone here is just as wonderful. It's become increasingly uncommon on the used market in recent years. Excellent midrange presence and a mild, well-compressed boost add thickness and gorgeous sheen to your tone.

OP-IC: MC1458P x2
Note: internal foam replaced, input jack and battery snap replaced
