Vintage 1982 Takamine F-370S, made in Japan during Takamine’s highly regarded lawsuit-era period.
The F-370S is one of Takamine’s classic Martin D-28-inspired dreadnoughts and is increasingly desirable among players and collectors of vintage Japanese acoustics.
This example features a solid spruce top and beautifully figured Brazilian Rosewood laminate back and sides. The back is especially striking, with strong bookmatched figuring and a decorative center strip.
The guitar is otherwise original, with the only modification being the addition of a piezo pickup, making it more versatile for live or amplified use while preserving its vintage character.

The guitar shows very minor cosmetic wear and presents very well for an instrument over 40 years old.
I bought this guitar from Manny's Music Store in NYC in 1982 for my sister who literally never played it. This is why it's in excellent condition.
