2000 Taylor 410ce Acoustic-Electric Guitar!
Natural Finish! Fishman Electronics! Made In USA!
This is really Cool. You are looking at a 2000 Taylor 410ce Acoustic-Electric Guitar. One of the core models of Taylor’s hard-working 400 Series, the 410ce exemplifies the brand’s reputation for well-made instruments with quality tonewoods, factory-installed electronics, and cutaway shapes for access up the neck. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and ovangkol back and sides, the 410ce offers a versatile tonal profile that combines the brightness and clarity of spruce with the warm, rich midrange of ovangkol. With a the big dreadnought body, the result is a balanced, full sound with strong projection and resonance. The cutaway design allows for easy access to higher frets—perfect for players looking to explore the entire fretboard.
This 2000 model is equipped with Fishman Prefix electronics, which capture the guitar’s natural acoustic tone when plugged in. Pickup-equipped Taylor's have always been reliable, and that's why you see so many used for live performance and recording. The 410ce has long been considered a workhorse within Taylor’s lineup, praised for its versatility and playability. Whether you're a gigging musician or a dedicated hobbyist, this used 410ce provides the craftsmanship and tonal excellence that have made Taylor a leader in the acoustic guitar world.
This 2000 Taylor 410ce has been played, so it shows some wear in all of the usual areas (see photos). There is a repaired crack on the Top. The guitar plays well with medium action, and there's plenty of life left in the frets. The combination of the dreadnought body and Sitka/Ovangkol produces a bold, powerful sound. A lot of Taylors sound more delicate, but this one is a powerhouse.
***Top Crack Repair***
There was a crack in the Top From below the Bridge to the edge of the body. Our luthier repaired it. He also clear coated it so you cannot feel it with your fingernail. Solid and Tight. Stronger than New. (See picture #14).
