• Condition: This is a gorgeous piece of history in fantastic shape considering it is pushing 60 years old! There is finish checking everywhere you look along both top and bottom and sides of the body. The top side is free of any notable sign of abuse, but there is a fair amount of finish checking throughout that include some that run parallel with the grain; these can appear to be cracks, but only one can be felt and appears to be further than surface level; this one is located on the backside's treble lower bout and runs parallel with the wood grain(see photos). The heel is showing some separation, so be sure to inspect photos carefully, but know that this doesn't hinder playability as the neck is straight and smooth! The action is great where it is at right now with a new setup and strings, so it plays like a dream! The neck shows light signs of use throughout, but nothing egregious. The fretboard is clean and the frets are polished with wear throughout, but plenty of life left. The headstock has the usual scrapes and scuffs to the sides as well as more finish checking. This is a gorgeous piece of American history that sounds amazing! However, because it is a vintage instrument with plenty sign of use be sure to inspect photos carefully before purchase. Everything which is included is pictured and is ready to be professionally packed and shipped.
