Apparently Eric Clapton looked at a regular Stratocaster and thought, “Very nice, but could we give it a secret weapon and paint it the color of money?”
The result is one of Fender's coolest Signature Series Strats, and this 1995 Eric Clapton Stratocaster wears the wonderfully period-correct Candy Green metallic finish. Underneath the traditional Strat appearance are three Gold Fender-Lace Sensor pickups, a TBX tone circuit and Clapton's active 25dB mid-boost, capable of taking this thing from sparkling Strat to considerably more muscular territory without changing guitars.
The one-piece maple neck gets Clapton's distinctive Soft V profile, while the vintage-style synchronized tremolo is blocked as intended on the model. And at 7.6 lbs, it won't require an orthopedic consultation after the second set.
This one has actually been played, which is generally what happens when somebody owns a good guitar for three decades.

Condition & What’s Included
This guitar is in Very Good condition, especially considering it has now been around long enough to complain about property taxes.
There are surface scratches, pick marks and normal play wear on the body and pickguard, along with a small ding/finish impression on the upper edge and a few additional small marks consistent with normal use. The neck plate also shows scratching and wear.
The original tuners have been replaced with Sperzel locking tuners. The conversion left the previous tuner mounting/screw holes visible on the back of the headstock, as shown clearly in the photos. We would much rather show you the holes than photograph the guitar from 47 carefully selected angles and hope nobody asks.
The frets show normal use but appear to have plenty of life remaining.
Includes the Fender vintage-style tweed hardshell case and the pictured original Fender paperwork. The case shows age and normal exterior wear but presents very nicely.
And yes, that Fender 50th Anniversary medallion is present on the back of the headstock. The serial number is from Fender's SN5 Signature Series numbering, and Candy Green is specifically documented by Fender as an available Clapton finish for 1995.
Whoever brings this baby home is gonna be STOKED!!
