The Electro-Harmonix Screaming Bird is a treble booster designed to add high-frequency gain to your signal chain. It provides up to 20 dB of boost focused in the 1.6 kHz to 2.4 kHz range, helping your guitar cut through a mix or push an amp into overdrive. The pedal uses true bypass switching and a compact die-cast chassis.

Operation is straightforward with a single control that adjusts both the amount of boost and the center frequency. It runs on a standard 9-volt battery or an optional external power supply.
