Schecter PT Koa Top Vintage Burst USA Custom Shop Electric Guitar

This Schecter PT Custom Shop handcrafted in Sun Valley, California combines striking visual presence with responsive playability. The exotic koa top in Vintage Burst finish reveals stunning wood grain character while the carefully profiled neck delivers comfortable, fast access across all registers. The dual-humbucker configuration and hardtail bridge deliver the stability and tonal character serious players expect from a purpose-built instrument.

Build & Hardware

Swamp ash body with koa top sits on a quartersawn hard rock maple neck joined via contoured four-bolt attachment for reliable sustain and resonance. The Schecter Hardtail PT-H bridge and Schecter USA tuners ensure rock-solid tuning stability and intonation, while black hardware complements the dark vintage aesthetic throughout.

Playability & Electronics

The Schecter Custom C-shape neck profile measures .80" at the first fret and .83" at the 12th fret, offering a balanced grip that accommodates various hand sizes and playing techniques. A 14" fingerboard radius with 22 Jascar German Premium Silver frets (6100 equivalent) provides smooth bending and accurate intonation, while the Schecter Super Rock Vintage pickup set in H/H configuration handles everything from clean articulation to saturated overdrive tones.
