1968 Gibson SG Standard Electric Guitar. This guitar and another guitar we have listed (1974 LP Custom) were brought in from the family of a musician that recently passed and they couldn’t provide us with any information. This guitar, like the LP were refinished and we don’t know why or who did the work so we will describe the best we can. There are no repairs anywhere as far as we can tell. Guitar is in excellent condition and feels like a new instrument, like it was in 1968! Everything looks original except for the knobs which look newer. Just set up with new strings and guitar feels, plays and sounds great and the Maestro trem works well. Frets that look like they have very little wear so maybe refretted but again we don’t know for sure. Comes in a newer Gibson Custom case.
