The Martin LX1 Little Martin proves that a compact guitar doesn’t have to sound small. Its solid spruce top produces a surprisingly full voice, with crisp articulation, warmth, and enough dynamic range to respond when you dig in. The Modified 0 body feels incredibly comfortable in your hands, making it an easy guitar to reach for whether you’re practicing at home, writing songs, traveling, or passing it around a campfire. The mahogany-pattern HPL back and sides add durability while maintaining the classic acoustic look.

The shorter 23-inch scale length and Modified Low Oval neck give the LX1 an especially relaxed playing feel, making chords and melodies approachable for newer players while remaining genuinely enjoyable for experienced guitarists. A Richlite fingerboard keeps the feel smooth, and spruce X-bracing helps the compact body project with surprising clarity and focus. It’s the kind of guitar that encourages you to pick it up often because it feels effortless to play.

Perhaps the biggest appeal of the LX1 is how easily it fits into everyday life. The HPL construction is built to handle changes in temperature and humidity better than a traditional all-wood travel guitar, giving you the confidence to take it on the road without treating it like a museum piece. Add the included protective gig bag, and the Martin LX1 Little Martin becomes an incredibly versatile companion for wherever you make music. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.
