British Pedal Company MKI Tone Bender — Gold
British Pedal Company MKI Tone Bender in the iconic gold finish.
This is a detailed recreation of the original 1965 Sola Sound/Gary Hurst Tone Bender MKI, built in the UK. The MKI is one of the earliest and most legendary British fuzz circuits, famously associated with players including Jeff Beck, Pete Townshend, and Mick Ronson.
This version features the original-style 1× OC75 + 2× 2G381 germanium transistor configuration, giving it the characteristic raw, dynamic, saggy MKI fuzz sound. It has Attack and Level controls and runs on a 9V battery.
The pedal has a huge, aggressive vintage fuzz character while still cleaning up nicely with your guitar’s volume control. Killer with humbuckers or single coils.
