Sennheiser EW 500 G4-965 professional wireless handheld microphone system in the GW1 frequency band, 558–608 MHz.

This is the 500-series G4 system with Sennheiser’s MMK 965 true-condenser vocal capsule, not one of the more common EW 100 systems with an 835/935-style dynamic capsule. The MMK 965 uses a large-diaphragm dual-membrane condenser design with switchable cardioid/supercardioid pickup patterns.

The system is fully functional with no known operational issues and has been a reliable professional live-use wireless system.

The handheld transmitter shows cosmetic wear from normal gigging, including scratches, scuffs and finish wear. I have photographed the wear clearly so there should be no surprises. The receiver is considerably cleaner, with only lighter signs of use. The cosmetic wear does not affect operation.

The 500-series G4 platform adds the higher-end receiver/transmitter feature set, while the MMK 965 gives you Sennheiser’s flagship condenser vocal capsule rather than the more common dynamic capsule options found on many G4 systems.

This is the GW1 version covering 558–608 MHz, as shown on the receiver label. Please confirm that this frequency range is appropriate for your location and intended use before purchasing.

The original power supply is included, along with both original rod antennas, which have not been used.

I am selling the system only because I have moved to a different wireless platform.
