Takamine TC132SC Lefty Classical Acoustic Electric Guitar Open Box

Takamine TC132SC Lefty Classical Acoustic Electric Guitar Open Box

The TC132SC is a left-handed classical cutaway built on solid tonewoods and traditional lutherie, delivering the warm, articulate response classical fingerstyle demands while remaining fully stage-ready through integrated electronics. This open-box instrument combines a solid cedar top with solid rosewood back and sides—the foundation of classical tone—with modern amplification and a cutaway body that expands playability without compromise. Built in Japan to exacting standards, it serves players who refuse to choose between acoustic purity and plugged-in versatility.

Tone & Construction

The pairing of solid cedar top, solid rosewood back and sides, and mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard produces the sustaining, articulate response classical music demands, while the hand-crafted marquettery rosette reflects traditional lutherie detail. This tonal architecture ensures long-term stability and the clarified voice expected from genuine classical construction.

Playability & Electronics

The 25.6" scale length and 51mm nut width follow classical specifications for proper fingerstyle spacing and hand position, while the CTP-3 preamp with three-band EQ and semi-parametric midrange control delivers flexible, transparent amplification. An onboard tuner eliminates setup delays, and the cutaway body opens access to upper frets without sacrificing classical tonal character.
