2007 Gretsch G5120 Electromatic Hollow Body, Orange Stain — built out to Setzer 6120 spec with HSC.
A Gretsch G5120 from July 2007 (serial KS07073486, Samick factory) that's been methodically upgraded toward a Brian Setzer 6120 — not a random parts-bin guitar, but a deliberate set of changes that approaches that 6120 Setzer vibe.
Upgrades
- TV Jones Classic pickups, neck and bridge, in gold covers.
- Full replacement wiring harness. New throughout, installed professionally.
- Setzer control layout. The stock master tone knob is gone, replaced by a 3-position tone switch — preset tones you can hit instantly mid-song instead of hunting for a spot on a sweep. The result is Volume 1 / Volume 2 / Master Volume / 3-position tone switch: the same control layout as Gretsch's Brian Setzer Nashville '59 signature.
- Sperzel locking tuners.
- Gretsch G-Arrow nickel control knobs. Genuine Gretsch parts .
The Bigsby-licensed B60 and rosewood-based Adjusto-Matic bridge remain stock.
Together these get you a long way toward a 6120 for a fraction of what one costs.

Professionally set up and playing beautifully right now. Little fret wear. No cracks, no repairs, no binding issues, no flaws to report. This has been well cared for - it's hard to find something to mention - very excellent quality
