Beautiful handcrafted baritone ukulele by respected Santa Cruz, California luthier Tony Graziano.

This instrument is build/serial #587 and features a classic tonewood combination with a spruce top and beautifully figured back and sides. Graziano is known for individually handcrafted, solid wood ukuleles, and this is a particularly elegant example with tasteful appointments throughout.

WOODS & CONSTRUCTION:

Based on the appearance, grain characteristics, and known construction materials used by Tony Graziano, we believe this instrument features a solid spruce top with figured curly koa back and sides, along with a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard and bridge.

The exact wood species have not been independently confirmed by the builder, so we cannot guarantee each species with absolute certainty. These are our best identifications based on the instrument itself, its grain characteristics, and documented Graziano construction practices. Please refer closely to the photos for the actual wood and figuring.

CONDITION:

Overall, this ukulele is in very good cosmetic condition and appears to have been lightly played. There are some light finish swirls and minor signs of handling consistent with age, but it presents beautifully overall.

There is a small amount of lifting / separation visible at one outer corner of the bridge, as shown in the close-up photos. The remainder of the bridge appears firmly seated, and we do not observe any obvious bellying or distortion of the top. We have left this as is and are noting it for complete transparency.

The frets show plenty of life remaining.

CASE:

Includes the pictured fitted tolex style hardshell case with plush interior. The case also includes humidity / temperature monitoring equipment, a useful addition for storing a solid wood instrument.
