Formerly known as the Stratospheric, the Alfa model is Paoletti's S-Style guitar featuring 130-150 year old reclaimed chestnut body and superb custom hardware appointments. It is available in SSS, HSS and HH configurations and in both the solid body "Loft" and thinline "Lounge" variations.

How Does It Play

The string action sits at just over 4/64” on the low E string and right at 4/64” on the high E string, measured at the 12th fret. Paoletti’s Medium C profile is is one of my favorite carves in the entire store, combining round shoulders with a perfectly thick girth. The 6110 fretwire is nice and wide like a jumbo, but just a little shorter for smooth playability across the neck.

The neck and middle pickups are wired with their own individual tone pots, leaving the bridge humbucker not wired to any tone pot. We are happy to re-wire if that is not your preference!
