Gibson J-45 ADJ, manufactured in 1965 [319129] (09/07)
A 1965 J-45 equipped with an adjustable saddle.
The top is spruce; the sides, back, and neck are mahogany; the fingerboard and bridge are likely rosewood; and it features a three-in-line tuner set with white buttons.
There is some slight twisting and warping in the neck, but this currently has almost no effect on playability. It will be sold as-is.
The nut appears to have been replaced at some point.
The top has developed a bulge, and there are numerous signs of weather checking in the finish throughout the instrument; the body binding has shrunk, creating a gap between it and the wood.
Scratches, dents, and paint peeling are visible on the headstock and the back of the neck; a prominent dent accompanied by paint peeling is noticeable near the 1st fret on the back of the neck.
There are numerous scratches and dents on the body; several dents accompanied by paint peeling are visible on the sides of the body, and there is paint peeling at the neck heel.
The pickguard has playing scratches, the soundhole rosette has a crack, and the metal hardware shows tarnish and pitting.
