This is a really nice and unique ukulele. It is a CHAMBERED body, which means it looks like a solid body, but it has air chambers inside to make it lighter and so that you can play it acoustically and hear it! It is made of beautiful solid Mango wood in a high gloss finish. It has nice gold and black Grover tuners and is strung with a low “G” string. This ukulele is great for amplifying with its simple passive pick up design, yet it does have a volume knob. It sounds AMAZING running through effects pedals- just like you would expect from a truly solid body electric ukulele, but with a much simpler set up using a traditional bridge. Pono is a great quality brand made by Hawaiian company Ko’Olau. This comes with a nice Pono hard carry case as well. In excellent shape! Retailed for around $800 but they are not being made any more. Asking $500.
