Coming into the new millennium, my go to amp was an Ampeg SVT, but then I got a gig out of state(Alaska) and there was no budget for the Ampeg SVT! So reluctantly, I picked up this Eden WTX-264, got on the plane, and much to my surprise, I haven’t looked back since! This was my first class D amplifier, and I figured I would get a better one later on. But, Eden is a company that specializes in bass amplification, and I think they are the granddaddy of the class D bass amplification era that came on seemingly overnight, lol. But frankly, class D is class D, and aside from every manufacturer having different preamp ideas, the only real change I’ve noticed is that the price just keeps going up! I’ve played this one thru everything from 1-12 cabinets, to 8–10 cabinets, and it has never let me down! I like the enhance control, and the concentric bass/mid controls; Sound techs like the D.I. w/ an output level control on the backside. Everything works as it should, and it comes with a gig bag, and power cord. Price is firm. Thank you.
