2015 Jackson USA Signature Phil Collen PC1 – 'Au Natural' Satin Quilt Top (Original Case)
2015 Jackson USA Signature Phil Collen PC1 – 'Au Natural' Satin
Up for sale is easily one of the coolest Jackson signature guitars ever made: a 2015 Jackson USA Phil Collen PC1 in the stunning 'Au Natural' satin finish over a premium quilted maple top and caramelized mahogany body. This is a $4,800 guitar brand new, offering top-tier American craftsmanship and the legendary, infinite-sustain layout that defines Phil Collen’s iconic Def Leppard tone. This instrument is in almost-mint condition, plays SUPERBLY with extremely low action, and comes complete with its original hardshell case and tremolo arm.
The Sound, Electronics & Playability
The signature centerpiece of this PC1 is the incredible Jackson Sustainer/Driver neck pickup, accompanied by dedicated mini-toggles to grab infinite sustain and harmonic feedback on demand. The electronics and Sustainer system are 100% fantastic and fully operational. Acoustically resonant and balanced at 8 lbs 14 oz, the bolt-on maple neck features a highly figured flame maple fretboard with a 12"-16" compound radius. The neck and stainless steel frets are in pristine condition, allowing for an exceptionally fast, buzz-free setup.
Condition Report
This guitar has been meticulously cared for. If it weren't for a few highly localized, minor cosmetic marks, it would easily be considered "Excellent Plus" or "Near Mint."
- The Front Top: There is minor, natural wood discoloration right at the bottom edge of the bridge pickup ring/volume knob area from normal finger contact. On this satin natural top, this subtle shading actually looks incredibly cool, giving the guitar an authentic, played-in "mojo" without breaking the finish.
- The Back: There are some minor, light surface marks on the rear metal control cavity cover.
As pictured, these superficial blemishes are purely cosmetic and do absolutely nothing to affect the flawless physical feel or incredible performance of the instrument.
