Schecter Damien Platinum-6 FR S Electric Guitar Satin Black

The thin 'C' neck profile and arched mahogany body of the Damien Platinum-6 FR S deliver exceptional comfort during extended play sessions, with the satin black finish providing a fast, responsive playing surface that requires no break-in period. The Floyd Rose Special bridge paired with EMG 81 and EMG 85 Sustainiac pickups creates a platform built for aggressive playing styles—metal, progressive rock, and high-gain applications where tuning stability and articulate tone separation are non-negotiable.

Playability & Feel

The 25.5" scale and thin neck profile at the first fret (0.787") enable rapid upper-fret access without sacrificing stability or comfort, while the 24 X-Jumbo frets and 14" fretboard radius provide a familiar playing feel that rewards precision technique. The Ultra Access set-neck construction balances sustain with accessibility, and the platinum bat inlays offer visual confirmation of position markers during dynamic play.

Tone & Electronics

The combination of EMG 81 bridge and EMG 85 Sustainiac neck pickups with dedicated 2-way and 3-way mode switching (Fundamental-Mix-Harmonic) gives you articulate, high-output response across rhythmic and lead applications. A double 9-volt battery compartment powers the Sustainiac circuit, while the 3-way pickup selector and independent volume/tone controls enable quick tonal shaping without sacrificing the aggressive character this guitar is engineered to deliver.
