I'm unfortunately selling this beautiful Collings I-30 LC to thin the heard, and really sorry to see it go. The order/spec sheet attached in the photos has all the details, but a few were changed prior to delivery: the pickups are Brickhouse hum-cancelling P-90s. The frets are 6100s.

These are simply iPhone photos so please disregard glare and anything that looks like there may be blemishes on the instrument - there are none, this instrument is CLEAN!

For those unfamiliar, this instrument is inspired by the fully hollow Gibson 330, but has the longer neck that joins the body at the 19th fret, as it does on a Gibson 335. While the Gibson ES-330 has a lower bout width of 16 inches and a length of 19 inches, Collings designed the I-30 LC with a slightly downscaled footprint (similar in overall outer outline inspiration to their I-35 series, measuring around 15 inches wide), making it lighter and more comfortable.

The guitar is currently strung with D/Addario 9-42. The neck profile is similar to a Gibson 59', very comfortable and not too chunky. I believe the fretboard radius is 12". The finish and hardware has been VERY lightly aged at the factory. The guitar has never left my studio and is in the exact condition it was when I received it from the factory.

This guitar is approximately one year old and remains in outstanding condition. While the factory aged finish naturally gives the instrument a little bit of a broken-in appearance, the guitar itself has been exceptionally well cared for and would comfortably fall into Mint or near-Mint territory. There are no cracks, marks, dings, scratches, etc.

The lightweight “trestle-braced” body of the I-30 LC has been developed through extensive R&D and is the distillation of knowledge gleaned from our popular I-35 LC and Statesman LC. The trestle brace design directly couples the neck and tail block, creating exceptional strength and acoustical energy transference, while also allowing for a lightness and responsiveness that is both a tactile and musical joy to experience.

Playing the I-30 LC, you can easily feel the acoustic energy travel through the symmetric arches and re-curves of the top and back. These plates have been custom laminated and voiced for a tonality that is acoustic guitar-like in its resonance and dynamic response, but focused and feedback resistant enough to be utilized in jazz, blues, rock n’ roll, and other styles.
