The Roland MKS-20 is a classic piano module made in Japan from !986-89 and is still in wide use in studios, gospel venues and live concert applications. It's associated with Elton John who used it live and in the studio and made great use of it layering with other piano sounds on recordings.

I'm guessing if you're reading this you already know a lot about these. I'm not going to list the features and specs on these since they're all over the internet. OK, just a little bit....

Condition is very good. Unit is mounted in a Gator 2 space rack case which makes for a very tidy package. The unit itself has some mild scratching on the sides and the metal case is very slightly pushed in. I tried to photograph this but it's very hard to show on the black metal.

The other point on condition is that the backlight on the display is not working. You can read the data on the display and the contrast control works but it does not light up. It's a common problem with these units. I checked around and it seems the replacement part is widely available for around 70 dollars.

I did hook this up to a midi keyboard and an amplifier and it sounds terrific like it should. I scrolled around to hear the sounds and effects and everything worked the way it's supposed to.

I'm not a keyboard guy but if you message me I'll try to answer any questions you may have.
