Vintage original Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer, made in Japan circa 1984.

This is an original 1980s TS9, not a later reissue. Serial number is 419581, with the original-style silver Made in Japan bottom label and vintage Maxon MP-D01201 circuit board.

Tested and fully functional. All three controls, footswitch, LED, input/output jacks and power operation are working properly.

The pedal is equipped with the Toshiba TA75558P op-amp, which is a factory-correct chip found in later examples from the original TS9 production era. Please see the detailed internal photos showing the chip, circuit board and components.

Cosmetically, the pedal shows normal wear from use and age, including paint chips, scratches and wear to the footswitch plate and control plate. It is missing a battery cover and the bottom of it is slightly bent. I have tried to photograph the condition thoroughly, so please review all photos. The wear gives it the appearance you'd expect from a genuinely used 40+ year-old pedal rather than a pristine collector example.
