The Amethyst is an amazing microphone and this is a sequential serial number pair that gives amazing flexibility for things like overheads and large ensemble. It was made before Violet and JZ microphones officially merged which is neat because the microphones still sat Violet on them. These have been tested and work perfectly. These mics are great on strings, percussion, and vocals. Not much it can’t handle.
