Vintage Aluminum Thermometer Case - for Fender Telecaster, Broadcaster, Esquire, Nocaster, Flight Case, Bulwin, 1950s
Vintage aluminum thermometer case. Professionally fabricated, it shares the same dimensions as the fiberboard thermometer cases made by Bulwin for Fender in the early ‘50s. It features a plaque, inscribed "Jack Lewis, 1204 W. Markham Avenue, Durham N.C." It has been suggested that this a prototype flight case made by Bulwin. However, there are no visible markings indicating its manufacturer. Regardless, its a phenomenal piece.
