This is a 1965 Martin D-18 that I have owned and played since 1973. I'm the second owner. The first owner bought the guitar from a music store in Tucson AZ back on January 11, 1966 (see photo of original receipt). It came with a different case but it wore out so in 1979 I purchased the Martin hardshell case that it has now and is included. Most recently I replaced the pick guard as it was curling up on the edges. The original pick guard is included. And the only other non-original part is the saddle. I played the first one out. Everything else is original. The guitar has scratches, rubbed spots, wear and tear around the sound hole (people pay hundreds more for fake aging) and some buckle rash on the back (I call them character markings) but the guitar still rings like a dreadnought Martin and the wood is aged to perfection. Spruce top and mahogany sides and back and a sweet rosewood fretboard that plays like a dream.
