The Electro-Harmonix Bass Big Muff Pi 2 combines the unmistakable character of a Big Muff with the resurrected dual op-amp circuit of the Big Muff Pi 2, optimized specifically for bass. The result is a massive fuzz sound with plenty of midrange grind and virtually endless sustain, while added controls help preserve the low-end weight and definition bass players need.

Along with the familiar Volume, Tone, and Sustain controls, the Bass Big Muff Pi 2 adds a Blend knob for mixing your clean and fuzz signals. Dial in just enough dry signal to maintain clarity and fundamental low end, or turn it fully wet for the complete fuzz experience. A dedicated Bass Boost switch adds even more low-end impact and is particularly effective when using brighter, more treble-heavy Tone settings.

The Bass Big Muff Pi 2 also features mechanical relay true bypass with a soft-touch footswitch capable of both latching and momentary operation. Click it normally to engage or bypass the pedal, or press and hold for a temporary burst of fuzz. Whether you're after a little extra grit or an enormous wall of bass fuzz, the Bass Big Muff Pi 2 gives you the flexibility to get there without giving up the foundation of your original signal.
