Walrus Audio Mako Series MKII: ACS1

The Walrus Audio Mako Series MKII: ACS1 is a powerful amplifier and speaker cabinet simulator pedal, meticulously designed to replicate the feel and tone of world-class tube amplifiers. This pedal is built with high-quality components and construction, featuring a sleek anodized gold finish and a vibrant 2-inch OLED screen that makes navigation seamless. The circuit is based on 32-bit floating-point processing, using Sharc & ARM co-processors to deliver impeccable audio quality with 24-bit 48kHz A/D and D/A converters. With a range of six classic and modern amp models, the MKII: ACS1 is a versatile tool for any musician looking to go direct on stage, in the studio, or for silent practice at home.

Beyond its core function as an amp simulator, the MKII: ACS1 provides a comprehensive tone-shaping experience. It includes three vintage circuit models inspired by a classic Fender® Deluxe Reverb, a 1962 Marshall® Bluesbreaker, and a 1960s Vox® AC30. For players seeking more aggressive sounds, it offers three high-gain models based on a Peavey® 5150, Orange® Rockerverb, and Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier. The pedal also features three studio-quality reverbs and twelve custom Impulse Responses (IRs) from Tone Factor and York Audio, with the flexibility to load your own. The intuitive control layout and extensive connectivity options, including stereo I/O and MIDI support, make it a true centerpiece for any modern pedalboard.
