Beautiful 2021 Fender Player Plus Stratocaster in Aged Candy Apple Red, manufactured in December 2021.
The Player Plus series takes the classic Strat design and adds some genuinely useful modern features: three Player Plus Noiseless pickups, a satin Modern “C” neck with rolled fingerboard edges, 12" radius, 22 medium-jumbo frets, two-point tremolo, and Fender locking tuners.
The push/pull switch on the second tone control adds the neck pickup in positions 1 and 2, giving you bridge + neck and all three pickups together in addition to the five traditional Strat combinations.
Everything works as it should, and it plays and sounds great.
It also comes in a black Fender Classic Series wood hardshell case with plush interior, a substantial upgrade over the deluxe gig bag originally supplied with these guitars.
