I'm offering this PRS Tremonti Core, made in the USA, from the Artist Package series, manufactured in mid-2015. There are reportedly only 20 examples of this model with these specs in the world. Second-hand.

The Artist Package is a precursor to the Wood Library program for very limited series with non-catalog specs, offered directly by PRS rather than through major PRS dealers.

➡️Condition:

Like new, no scratches or dings, zero fret wear. Perfectly straight neck, functional truss rod. No repairs. As you could see on my pictures, the gloss finish is a real mirror reflecting all around. it allows to see there is absolutely no scratch or ding.

Everything is original except:

- The tuning machine knobs, which I replaced with ebony models. I'll include the original ones, of course

- I replaced the neck tone control with a killswitch. The tone pot and its knob are still soldered in place as originally, but are simply pushed back into the electronics cavity. I can put it back in place and remove the killswitch in 5 minutes. The killswitch is complemented by a high-end resistor/capacitor combination to prevent popping sounds upon activation.

It's perfectly set-up (like the SC594 core Wood Library I also have for sale), with low action and no fret buzz, excellent intonation, etc.

As this is an Artist Package, it has the following features compared to the standard Tremonti Core:

- Gabon ebony fretboard

- Gabon ebony headstock veneer

- Artist-grade flame maple top (equivalent to the 10-top option on the standard models)

- Abalone bird's-eyes with mother-of-pearl outline

- Abalone PRS headstock logo

- Paisley finish case

It comes with all its original paperwork, accessories, and goodies (see photos), as well as the original chrome tuner knobs and The tone knob and button which have been replaced by the killswitch.

➡️Personality

A true work/war horse, great everywhere, though it is THE beast in high gain. Easy to play.

Compared to standard Tremonti USA guitars, the ebony fretboard is essential for me on all my guitars with a mahogany body/maple cap. Beyond its incomparable feel, it offers a roundness and precision that rosewood simply can't match. Furthermore, from an aesthetic point of view, a lot of standard Tremonti USA second hand guitars have a very light rosewood fretboard that doesn't pair well with dark finishes.

I'm selling it with regret to invest in another, non-musical project. No trades.

Je propose cette PRS Tremonti Core made in USA, gamme Artist Package, fabriquée mi 2015. Il y aurait 20 exemplaires de ce modèle avec ces specs dans le monde. Seconde main.

Artist Package, c’est un programme ancêtre du Wood Library pour des séries très limitées avec des specs hors catalogue mais proposées directement par PRS plutôt que par les grands dealers PRS.

➡️Condition: Comme neuve, aucune rayure ou ding, zéro usure des frettes. Manche parfaitement droit, trussrod fonctionnel. Aucune réparation.
Comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos, la finition est un vrai miroir réfléchissant tout son environnement (verdure des arbres alentours, éclats de lumière, etc.) et confirme le fait qu’il n’y a pas de rayure ou enfoncement, même légers.

Tout est d’origine à part:

• Les boutons de mécanique que j’ai remplacés par des modèles en ébène. Je fournis bien sûr ceux d’origine.
• J’ai remplacé le tone neck par un killswitch. Le potard de tone avec son bouton est toujours soudé en place comme à l’origine mais est simplement repoussé dans la cavité électronique. Je peux le remettre en place et retirer le killswitch en 5 minutes. Le killswitch est complété par un combo résistances/Condo haut de gamme pour éviter les plops lors de l’activation.

Elle est parfaitement réglée (comme la SC594 core Wood Library que je propose aussi à la vente), action basse sans frise, intonation, etc.

Comme c’est une Artist Package, elle a pour spécificités par rapport aux Tremonti Core normales:

• touche en ébène du Gabon
• placage de tête (veneer) en ébène du Gabon
• Artist grade flame maple top (equivalent à l’option 10 top des modèles de série)
• birds en abalone avec outline nacre
• logo PRS de tête en abalone
• étui finition Paisley

➡️All included: elle est fournie avec tous ses papiers, accessoires et goodies fournis d’origine (visibles sur mes photos) ainsi que les boutons de mécaniques chromés d’origine et le potard+bouton du tone dont le killswitch a pris la place.

➡️Personnalité 

Une machine de guerre, parfaitement à son aise partout même si elle excelle bien sûr dans le high gain.

Par rapport aux Tremonti USA normales, la touche ébène qui est pour moi indispensable sur toutes mes guitares avec un combo acajou/érable. Elle apporte, au-delà d’un toucher incomparable, une rondeur et une précision que le palissandre ne procure pas. De plus, d’un point de vue esthétique, la quasi totalité des Tremonti USA normales disposent d’une touche palissandre très claire qui s’accorde mal avec des finitions foncées.

Je la vends à regret pour investir dans un autre projet non musical.
