The Blackstar LT Boost is a compact analog boost and preamp pedal designed for electric guitar. It is engineered to function as a transparent volume boost, a frequency-shaping EQ stage, or a dynamic overdrive driver to push tube amplifiers into natural breakup.
Circuitry & Tone Shaping

• Clipping Circuit: Utilizes a patent-applied-for clipping circuit derived from Blackstar's larger valve-driven pedal designs, intended to mimic the dynamic response, compression, and feel of a tube amplifier.
  
• Gain Control: Continuously variable gain structure. At lower settings, it acts as a clean, rounded volume boost; at higher settings, it introduces smooth, valve-like overdrive.
  
• Active EQ Section: Unlike simple single-knob boosters, it features independent Bass and Treble controls with a center-detent flat response. Both controls allow for active frequency cutting or boosting to tailor the low-end thickness and top-end cut for different guitars and pickups.
