The maker behind KOU UKULELE has extensive experience in the production and repair of a wide range of instruments, including classical guitars, acoustic guitars, and ukuleles, through years of work at the Chaiwe Yukinobu Guitar & Violin Workshop. The maker now operates an independent workshop in Saitama, Japan, where instruments are carefully crafted using the skills and experience developed over many years.

KOU UKULELE was established in 2017 and has already earned a strong reputation among ukulele enthusiasts for its meticulous craftsmanship, carefully selected high-quality materials, and rich tonal character.

This is a used Model CEAK, a high-grade Concert ukulele from KOU UKULELE.

The A Model uses exceptionally high-grade materials, including an abalone rosette and purfling. Combined with the refined finish, the instrument has an elegant and luxurious appearance.

The high-grade Hawaiian Koa produces a glossy, clear tone with a beautifully balanced response. Sparkling highs blend naturally with rich low and midrange frequencies, while the quick attack maintains a strong and focused core.

The Concert body provides a comfortable balance of volume and sustain. It responds beautifully to both chord strumming and fingerstyle playing, allowing subtle nuances in individual notes to come through clearly.

There are some light finish scratches on the back from normal use, but they are not particularly noticeable. No other significant damage has been found, and the instrument remains in overall good condition.
