Original model with 27 chord types. Works good. No scratchy knobs. All buttons, knobs, strumplate, speaker and output jack work. Tested (on 8 "C" batteries and AC adapter). No sign of battery leakage. The black, battery-pulling ribbon is still intact. See pictures.
I will include a compatible AC adapter for USA/Canada buyers only.
This electronic autoharp was the first Omnichord model (from 1981) and is the simplest. It features 27 chords (9 keys x 3 variations (major, minor, minor 7th (eg. C7)). Unlike subsequent models, if you press more than one button button in a key, you don't get other variations. You can combine rhythms by pressing two rhythm buttons at the same time, however.
Daniel Lanois used an Omnichord on many productions including U2's The Joshua Tree (1987) album. "Love Is a Stranger" (1983) by Eurythmics features chords and Sonic Strings from the Omnichord OM-27.
