ESP LTD KH-602 Kirk Hammett Guitar Purple Sparkle B-Stock

The KH-602 is a neck-thru design that delivers excellent sustain and resonance through its solid construction, with a comfortable 25.5" scale length that sits between standard and extended reaches. This signature model channels Kirk Hammett's aggressive playing style through its aggressive aesthetics and professional-grade hardware, making it an authentic choice for players drawn to hard rock and metal tones. The purple sparkle finish commands attention on stage while the instrument's balanced weight distribution ensures extended playing sessions remain fatigue-free.

Construction & Hardware

Built with a neck-thru construction using a 3-piece maple neck bolted to an alder body, this design maximizes tonal transfer and structural integrity. The pau ferro fingerboard with a 350mm radius provides a moderately curved playing surface suited to both lead and rhythm work, while the 24 extra-jumbo frets accommodate aggressive bending and precision fretting. The Floyd Rose 1000 bridge enables extensive tremolo manipulation and maintains tuning stability during extreme pitch shifts.

Electronics & Tone

Equipped with EMG Kirk Hammett Bone Breaker Signature pickups—a pair of high-output humbucking designs—this guitar delivers the aggressive, articulate tones Hammett is known for. The active EMG electronics provide consistent output, clear note definition, and natural sustain ideal for both rhythmic heaviness and lead clarity across the frequency spectrum.
