For sale or best offer is a 1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. Best known for its mini humbuckers, the LP Deluxe took the place of the Standard in Gibson's catalog for a brief period of time.
This one has been refinished to natural and has also been semi-converted for a full-size humbucker in its bridge position. At the time of refinishing, its serial was sanded and the sharp corners of its headstock were softened into a more vintage Standard shape. It's otherwise in good shape with some nicks and scratches. Its pickups are Gibson Custom Shop humbuckers, its bridge and tailpiece are non original, but its pots and tone caps are original. It is a monster player and as expected, sounds awesome, too. It's also one of the lightest Deluxes we've felt, weighing in at just 9 lbs, 1 oz.
It has been professionally setup and comes with its original hardshell case.
