For sale or best offer is a 1966 Gibson SG Melody Maker D refinished to what we like to call Midnite Sparkle, a dark blue metallic finish. It was probably originally Pelham Blue and had a vibrola tailpiece, but was converted to an ABR-1 bridge and stoptail configuration and refinished when it had its headstock repaired ages ago. Its pickguard was also routed to fit a humbucker in its bridge position and its body had room made for a better toggle switch. It has a nice looking Tele lipstick pickup and a no-name humbucker that actually sounds awesome. Its tuners have been replaced, but its pots and tone caps are original. It's a killer player with a comfortable, skinny nut, medium C neck. It has nicks and dings and patches and scratches, but no shortage of personality or mojo. Real punk machine, this one!
It has been professionally setup and comes with a gigbag.
