This is a Wood Library McCarty Trem made in Stevensville, Maryland. It has a 10 Top Flame Maple top in Red Tiger, a natural mahogany back, and a flame maple neck stained to match the top. A standard McCarty has a mahogany neck, so the maple neck is the big change here, and it alters part of the usual tonewood recipe. The Red Tiger finish brings out the alternating light and dark figure in the maple. The fretboard is bound Ziricote with Outline Old School Bird inlays in Sparkle Mother-of-Pearl with Pink Heart centers, and the hybrid nickel and gold hardware adds some contrast against the top.

The McCarty III pickups favor clarity, dynamics and vintage-inspired character over raw output, so you hear the guitar itself, from clean tones to edge-of-breakup rhythm to overdriven leads. It also has 408 switching: a 3-way toggle plus two mini-toggles that give independent control over each pickup, alongside the volume and push-pull tone controls. The Gen III Tremolo covers everything from subtle chord movement and vibrato to bigger pitch effects, with smooth feel and good tuning stability. It comes with a PRS D1 molded hardshell case.
