This Mosrite was build by Semie Moseley in 1984. I believe it is a prototype for what become the VIII, but it is unlike productions models in that it has a pickguard, and the 3 switches are in a different place. The guitar has an early AF (After Fire) serial number. Unfortunately the body suffered stress cracks stemming from the neck pocket which were repaired and touched up. Still, this is a rare, one of a kind instrument. It plays and sounds great. It is signed by Semie on the back of the headstock. It comes with the original case.
