Crane Song HEDD 192, stereo mastering AD/DA converter with Triode, Pentode and Tape harmonic processing in the digital domain. Completely unmodified from new, original D/A board. One owner, Sydney studio, fully working.
What it is: 2 channel 24 bit A/D and D/A converter plus a D/D processor that adds tube and tape harmonics without leaving digital. Use it as your mix bus capture converter, your monitoring D/A, or purely as a colour box on stems. Industry standard in mastering rooms for two decades.
TRIODE: even order harmonics, fattens the bottom.
PENTODE: mostly third harmonic, brightens and adds detail, slight compression at higher settings.
TAPE: odd harmonic tape saturation with the record and reproduce EQ curves, thickens low mids.
All three in series, each on its own knob, switchable in and out.
Condition: Very Good. Light rack wear on the ears, faces clean. Power cable included.
Ships from Sydney, Australia, double boxed and insured. International freight shown is an estimate. I will quote your destination and preferred carrier before dispatch and refund any overpayment through Reverb. Local pickup welcome.
For sale only, no trades.
