This was my first fuzz which I could never replace because I never found another fuzz with such endless sustain... The circuit is based on a silicon Fuzz Face designed by Blues Saraceno's father for session work. The unique Tweak knob cuts low tones with input capacitors to tighten up the thick fuzz. This fuzz looks great, too. Look closely, and you will see that it is missing the Stickies labels you see on every other one of these pedals.

I didn't use it live much because it struggles to achieve unity gain, according to some forum folks. That's actually caused by the fuzz's natural compression on hard picked notes. Pick softer and back off the gain or guitar's volume. There is also an easy mod that boosts the output but I don't recommend it. The pedal is actually easy to mod despite its tiny SMD components thanks to lots of extra holes in the PCB.

I can build my own fuzz pedals now, and intend to clone this pedal but hurry up and buy this rare fuzz before I get sentimental and change my mind...
