Gibson Les Paul Standard 60's 2025 - Gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer
The Les Paul Standard 60's delivers the classic features found on Les Paul models from the very early 1960's. This has a non-weight relieved solid mahogany body with a AA figured maple top that adds a bit of extra sustain and bite to the warmth and midrange punch of the mahogany. The back of the guitar looks like it's black, but it's actually a very very dark deep maroon color. You need just the right lighting to see the difference, but it's pretty unique.
The Rootbeer finish is a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, and really shines. Weighs in at 8.7 pounds.
The mahogany neck has a fast playing Slim Taper profile, with Indian Rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, and acrylic trapezoid inlays, and Graph Tech nut.
The pickups are two 60's Burstbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets, and are hand wired to individual volume and tone controls that feature audio taper potentiometers. The tone controls use Orange Drop capacitors.
Something a bit unique to Les Paul Standards is that this guitar has all gold hardware, including the ABR-1 bridge, Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover tuners, and pickup covers. Neck specs are as follows...
Fingerboard Radius: 12"
Nut Width: 1.69" End of board width: 2.26"
Scale length: 24.75"
It has a standard 3 way toggle switch, and 1/4" output jack.
This guitar is basically as new, no dents or dings, includes the Gibson hard shell case.
Shipping is a flat rate of $95.00 to the Continental USA only, no overseas shipping. Please ask any questions you may have, and thanks for looking!
