This sub goes for $6800 new. It is flat to below 20Hz and the power, clarity, and responsiveness of it is absolutely astounding. The plate amp has lots of controls to integrate the sub into your system, including phase adjustment, low pass filter, and parametric EQ. These controls can also be switched out if not needed. This is the mk1 version but the differences between it and the newest version are minimal. Zu Audio will buy back this older plate amplifier for $800 and sell you the newest one if you need it for some reason. The big difference with the newer one is that if you are only wanting to use the speaker livel inputs, it can be used with bridged amplifiers whereas this one can't. The good news is that this feature can also be added by simply purchasing a couple of transformers to connect to before going into the speaker level inputs. Zu Audio can help you figure out how to do this. Really sad to let this go because of how amazing it sounds and how beautiful the design is, but I need to upgrade my studio monitors so this has to go.
