Super awesome vintage kramer with some tasteful and well done mods. It was very professionally routed for a jazz bass pickup. The wiring was tastefully modified for a selector switch, two indvidual pickup volumes, a master tone, and two coil taps or phase splits as two position switches wired to coils of each pickup. The two original 1979 pots were used and a third was added. Please look at photos of the mods and work done.

The pickups appear to be period-correct DiMarzios, though I cannot confirm whether they are original to the instrument.

The neck is in great shape and plays awesome. Lower frets have a little wear. One of the hex nuts to bolt the neck to the body was very stripped. I was able to remove it and swapped a new bolt on screw. The other hex screws should be turned very gentley and with care to prevent from stripping if the neck is ever desired to be removed again.

Please note the finish cracks at the neck pocket shown in the photos. They appear limited to the finish, and the neck joint is tight and stable in my experience.

There are two holes on the body top im assuming were from someone experimenting with a thumbrest.

The strap buttons are not original. Knobs are not original.
