I bought this new, haven't touched a thing mod-wise, and it's pretty darn close to mint. The beautiful variance of sounds you can get by rolling off the tone knobs were a complete surprise to me. It was really a dream to have had this, alas, some unfortunate neck issues have me reaching for it far less than the lighter fellas in my arsenal.

The calibrated T-Type pickups are slightly lower-output and brighter than the older Burstbuckers. This gives it exceptional clarity, excellent note definition when playing chords, and a punchy midrange that cuts cleanly through the mix. The rolled fretboard binding on the rounded "C" neck gives the guitar a broken-in, comfortable feel immediately. This guy was made in Memphis and came out with beautiful fretwork, and rich, deep wood grain showing through the vintage burst.
