Selling because I haven't picked it up in forever and would rather sell it to buy something I'll use. Bought it years ago as a first guitar as I really liked the feel of it in-store and a few guitarists I loved played Gretsch. They don't sell an Electromatic double jet which comes in black anymore so oddly its now a bit of a rarity from what I can see.
It has a 12" fretboard radius so it's way easier for bends than the normal 9.5" of a modern Tele or strat. It basically feels more like a Les Paul. It has been set up really well so it plays very smooth, I just don't have that urge to pick it up like with other guitars for some reason.
It does have some wear and tear (a missing knob which can be bought for £5 and some very minor damage to the finish) on it that you'd expect from a guitar of this age which would be cheap to replace. Sounds fantastic, plays fantastic and overall in great condition. Great for that bluesy Delta sound.
Feel free to obviously come along and try before you buy :)
