If you're a fan of the iconic PRS Custom 24 guitar, then you'll be blown away by the expanded sonic territory of the PRS SE Custom 24-08. This guitar takes all the foundational specs of the SE Custom 24 and takes the platform to new heights with its eight pickup configurations and two mini-toggle coil-split switches. These switches allow you to individually split the humbuckers into true single coils, giving you the versatility to create a wide range of tones. Whether you're looking for a spanky single coil sound or full soapbars, the PRS TCI "S" pickups can deliver it all.
The SE Custom 24-08 retains classic design elements, including a maple top, mahogany back, rosewood fretboard, 24 frets, 25 scale length, bird inlays, signature headstock logo, and PRS patented moulded tremolo. The patented design of the tremolo system provides tonal fidelity, player comfort, and tuning stability that is second to none. You can play with confidence knowing that your tuning will remain stable no matter how much you use the tremolo arm.
In addition to the patented tremolo system, the SE Custom 24-08 features PRS-designed tuners that are lightweight and provide precise tuning without dampening your tone. The neck is made from maple and has a wide thin shape that makes it easy to play fast and accurately. The neck construction is multi-ply, and the fretboard has a 10" radius with bird inlays.
The SE Custom 24-08 is a set neck/body assembly type guitar that is built to PRS's exacting standards. With a shallow violin top carve, flame maple veneer, and iconic bird inlays, this guitar is a true work of art - whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, this guitar will take your playing to the next level.
