The Sun Valley Super Shredder FR S delivers a comfortable, fast-playing experience with its slim Thin 'C' neck profile and 24 X-Jumbo frets across a 14" radius fretboard. The Floyd Rose Special 'Hot Rod' locking tremolo — a Schecter exclusive — provides stable tuning and expressive pitch control for aggressive playing styles. Built with a mahogany body, ebony fretboard, and professional-grade hardware, this guitar balances playability with tonal versatility.
Playability & BuildThe neck geometry is precisely engineered for speed: measuring .787" at the 1st fret and .866" at the 12th fret, the Thin 'C' profile reduces hand fatigue during extended sessions. The 25.5" scale and 1.625" nut width provide standard spacing and reach, while offset/reverse dot inlays offer clear fretboard markers. A 2-way adjustable truss rod with heel access allows straightforward neck relief adjustments.
Tone & ElectronicsDual independent control circuits power an EMG Retro Active Hot 70 bridge pickup and a Sustainiac neck pickup, each with dedicated volume controls. The 3-way Sustainiac mode switch (Fundamental-Mix-Harmonic) unlocks infinite sustain and harmonic feedback capabilities, while the 2-way on-off switch lets you toggle the effect instantly. A double 9-volt clip-in battery compartment ensures reliable power for both pickup systems.
