A Stratocaster from the original American Performer series, featuring modern playability.
Featuring an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, the neck is designed for ease of play with a Modern "C" shape, a 9.5-inch radius, and 22 jumbo frets. It is equipped with three Yosemite Stratocaster pickups, exclusive to the American Performer series. These pickups deliver a wide range of tones, from the delicate clean sounds characteristic of a Strat to powerful driven tones.
The Tone 2 control features a push/pull switch; pulling it up adds the neck pickup to the signal path. This allows for combinations such as Bridge + Neck or Bridge + Middle + Neck?configurations not available with a standard 5-way selector?enabling a wide range of tone shaping. Additionally, the bridge-side Tone control incorporates the Greasebucket Tone Circuit, which controls the high frequencies while preventing the sound from becoming muddy.
There are some minor scratches and dents, but no particularly noticeable damage.
