Up for sale, a 2023 Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1960s Jazz Bass Heavy Relic in mint condition, complete with the G&G Deluxe hardshell case, CoA, all hangtags, and case candy. A custom-spec’d model with a $5450 new price tag, this Jazz Bass replicates the feel, appearance, and tone of a genuine vintage example, with an Aged Copper nitro lacquer finish and Fender’s Heavy Relic treatment, mother of pearl block inlay, “lollipop” tuners, and Jaco-style knurled knobs.

Weighing 9lbs 6oz, this Custom Shop Jazz Bass features an ash body paired with a quartersawn maple neck and a bound AAA rosewood fingerboard. This bass can deliver plenty of growl, burp, and treble presence via the single coil pair. The signal is throaty and punchy with the Tone knob rolled off and the neck pickup favored, or dial up the bridge pickup for a more midrange forward tone. This Custom Shop Limited Edition 1960s Jazz Bass Heavy Relic benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-105 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
